TMU-JIRB will implement the updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs, Version 20260801), effective August 1, 2026.

The primary focus of this revision is to strengthen the management mechanism for review cases entrusted by external institutions, as well as to incorporate errata, clarifications, and supplementary explanations across the SOP documents.

Please note that this SOP revision does not involve any changes to submission forms. Applicants should continue using the Version 20230801 forms for all protocol submissions. For detailed procedures regarding entrusted reviews for institutions outside the TMU Healthcare System, please refer to the "Request TMU-JIRB as an external IRB" instructions.
