[TMU-JIRB] TMU-eJIRB System Security Enhancement – Password Update Required from May 12, 2026
To enhance information security and strengthen system protection, the TMU-eJIRB system will implement an upgraded account security mechanism as outlined below:
1. Affected Systems
This enhancement applies to all systems accessed using TMU-eJIRB login accounts, including:
Taipei Medical University Electronic IRB System (TMU-eJIRB)
Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS)
Human Research Audit System (HRAS)
Joint Human Biobank Information Management System
2. Applicable Users
Users logging in with non-Taipei Medical University accounts.
3. Implementation Details
The following security measures will take effect from May 12, 2026 (Tuesday):
(1) Mandatory Password Update
Users will be required to change their password upon first login after the system update before accessing the system.
(2) Password Expiration Policy
Passwords will expire every 180 days, after which users must set a new password.
(3) Password Complexity Requirements
Passwords must include a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters, and must be at least 10 characters in length.
