If the principal investigator doesn’t work at TMU system, please send an official document to Taipei Medical University for entrusted review application. We will response your request and activate your system account. If the research is reviewed and approved by TMU-JIRB, the follow-up tracking, supervision management and audit if necessary will be executed together.

• The official document should remark the protocol title, principal investigator, case-recruiting location, and abstract of the protocol.
• If the research is in cooperation with the staff at the TMU system, please also remark the serving institute/unit and the name of the staff at TMU.
• If the research is applying for government funding, please also specify.

Effective July 1, 2026, please use the updated Official Letter Template_Request for Review Delegation (which now includes a section for the disclosure of institutional conflicts of interest). Please ensure you download the correct version based on your anticipated submission date.

Once your account has been activated, please processes the application on the TMU-eJIRB system. Additionally, please complete the attached "研究對象保護機制聲明書" and upload it to the "試驗研究申請單位同意書" field in the TMU-eJIRB system.
