To accommodate the peak submission period for NSTC-funded projects, research teams intending to apply are advised to complete IRB submission as early as possible according to the schedule below.

Applicable Project Type: NSTC projects involving human research.

Timeline

• IRB Submission Confirmation: Please submit your application through the IRB system before the NSTC deadline. A confirmation email will be sent automatically within 10–15 minutes.
• Deadline for Document Completion: All required documents must be submitted by February 23, 2026 (Monday) to proceed to full review. Approval letters will be issued only after the review is completed and the study is approved.

Important Notes

• IRB forms include mandatory fields and error-checking functions: please start preparations early.
• Please respond promptly to requests for revision or additional documents. Delays may result in failure to obtain IRB approval within the NSTC timeline, and applicants will bear full responsibility.
