About DSMS

 
The responsibilities of Data Safety Managing Section (DSMS):

1. Develop SOPs for the Audits of human research.
2. Collaborate with TMU-JIRB and the Department of Medical Research of affiliated hospitals to audit high-risk human research and deal with the Non-Compliance.
3. Assist the PI-initiated high risk protocol with developing a Data and Safety Monitoring Plan (DSMP) or establishing a Data and Safety Monitoring Board (DSMB).
4. Build a Data and Safety Monitoring Expert Database to facilitate audit or establish a DSMB.
5. Provide consultation for data and safety monitoring.
